Fascia is the connective tissues that holds us together surrounding everything in the human body, muscles, bones, ligaments, tendons and organs. The latest scientific research is discovering that the neuromyofascia is actually one of the main systems of the body working to control and regulate movement and posture. It is integral to our daily activities and has an enormous role to play in our wellbeing and health.
Healthy connective tissue is flexible yet strong. When the fascial system is connected it will distribute the forces evenly throughout the system avoiding putting any one part of the system under strain. Movement can then be efficient and rejuvenating. The body can rediscover a sense of resilience and balance.
As the fascia glides and stretches during movement and breathing the soft tissue rehydrates and allows the body to self regulate rather than be held in a state of tension.

It is the mind itself which builds the body
